The title of this piece was how much the land of Nigeria was purchased by the British. This piece touches on the issue of classism within the republic of Nigeria. Each cloth wrapped around the floating heads has a different word pertaining to a socioeconomic issue on it. The village appears to be relatively tranquil, but with close observation one can see that there's a tornado in the far mountains that's coming to cause damage. To further solidify the composition, there’s a road in the sky, running past the closest two heads. On this road is a presidential vehicle with the Nigerian flag attached to it. This hovering road represents the fact that politicians are able to travel by air, while the average Nigerian would have to walk, or take public transportation to get around.
